NOTICE TO TRAVELLERS TO THE REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO
The Embassy of the Republic of the Congo strongly recommends that all travellers to the Republic of the Congo carefully review the visa requirements and application procedures before submitting their application or making any payment.
Please note that visa fees are non-refundable, including in the event of a change of travel plans or a visa refusal.
New procedure effective 1 September
From 1 September, all visa applications must be submitted exclusively by post to the following address:

This new procedure has been introduced to enhance the security and traceability of applications, particularly those containing passports and other valuable documents.
Applicants are strongly advised to send their passport and complete application by registered mail or a trackable courier service. Sending passports by ordinary mail is strongly discouraged.
From 1 September, walk-in visa applications will no longer be accepted at the Embassy. All applications must be sent to the postal address indicated above.
Please also note that visas are not issued upon arrival at airports in the Republic of the Congo. Travellers must therefore obtain their visa before departure.
