The Republic of Congo has taken a new step in strengthening its diplomatic presence in Northern Europe with the official presentation of the Letters of Credence by H.E. Mrs. Nana Rosine Aurélie Ivouba Née Ngangoue, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Congo, to King Harald V, on 12 March 2026 in Oslo.
The ceremony, held in accordance with the protocol of the Norwegian Royal Court, formally marks the accreditation of the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway. The presentation was followed by a private audience between the two personalities, during which matters of mutual interest and the prospects for cooperation between the Republic of Congo and Norway were discussed.
Cooperation between the Republic of Congo and Norway continues to be guided by constructive dialogue and shared interest in strengthening economic and institutional ties. In particular, opportunities for collaboration exist in areas such as trade, investment, energy, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
During her visit to Oslo, H.E. the Ambassador also held a meeting with H.E. Ms. Andrea Gustović-Ercegovac, Ambassador of Croatia to Norway and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Oslo. The exchange provided an opportunity to discuss the role of the diplomatic community and to reaffirm the importance of dialogue and cooperation among diplomatic missions accredited in Norway.
