Congolese citizens residing in Sweden and other scandinavia countries who have lost their passport or whose passport has expired may obtain a travel document (laissez-passer) from the Embassy of the Republic of Congo in Sweden.
This document, valid for 30 days for one-way travel to the Republic of Congo only, requires the submission of:
Two passport-sized photographs.
A copy of the old passport or birth certificate.
A government-issued photo ID.
A letter of request.
A fee of 250 SEK paid to the SEB account number 5392-33 068 14, IBAN: SE 12 5000 0000 05392 3306814, BIC: ESSESESS.
A self-addressed, prepaid envelop from a swedish and nordic postal service, such as PostNord, DHL, or other available services, is required to return your documents.
Please note that this laissez-passer cannot be used to obtain a visa for other countries, and a new passport must be requested upon arrival in the Republic of Congo.
